OK, over the last couple days I've wondered what's been missing from my life. It's the blogging. I really have to think about more than just a quick blurb when on facebooking.
Laurel has had a rough year. This semester was supposed to be the fun one. The one in which she took some classes just for her. Unfortunately, it didn't end up that way and she's taking a 2nd semester of Latin. It's about doing her in.
On the up side, she was inducted into the Golden Laureate Honour Society a few weeks ago. On top of that, we got word that she recieved the Theater and Dance Honor Student Award. This award has a few $$ attached to it. Not much, but every little bit helps.
Caroline is doing an internship with the Army Corps of Engineers in St. Louis. She runs around in steel-toed boats, carhartts, and hip waders. I can't wait until she sees her first snake or snapping turtle!
Keith had in indoor meet at Illinois College and threw the shot 52'4", which is an inch off his best. So, a good start to the season. However, he pulled a muscle and it's been giving him painful spasms. There was an indoor meet at Eastern yesterday and while trying to warm up, he was afraid he would be causing more trouble, so he pulled out of the competition. His throw at IC qualified for the Indoor State meet already, so he didn't need yesterday's meet. We just need to get him healthy!
Don continues to have high blood pressure when he's in season. We better start measuring to see how high it is. I think I'll double the life insurance policy just in case.
So next up: will Keith ask someone to the prom? Maybe just as a friend? Will he win or lose the next poker night? Will he get home by curfew after the next UFC?
