Overheard at a recent day-long ladies' event: "Oh, I am so glad my husband let me come to this all day!" EXCUSE ME? LET ME COME? What freakin' century do we live in? I almost launched but regrouped, quickly realizing I might be in the minority here.
Since when does someone have to be allowed to spend an innocent day creating? Her husband probably hunts and does manly stuff without asking HER permission!
