Been awhile.

So, Spring Break starts Friday at 1:45 p.m. Wish I had plans to go somewhere. But that's OK. Instead, I'll plan our Spring "Stay-cation", which is such a stupid term.

1. Go to Tuscola for the Williams Family Easter Egg-stravaganza. Don's parents used to have Easter Egg Hunts for the kids. It started out little and got bigger and bigger, eventually expanding into two hunts. One was a free-for-all hunt for the grandkids and the other was sets of very carefully counted eggs, in assigned colors. So, Keith might look for only blue eggs. Thank goodness there were 5 egg colors available.

2. Go to the Pitman Family Easter Dinner. Marsha's house. Ham. I hope I remember to take something.

3. (But really with a #1 priority) Taxes. I've got 5 days left, don' I? All the stuff is in one place, at least. After all these years, I finally formed the habit of throwing all tax-related items in one location. All I've got to do outside that is download prescription printouts and explanation of benefits totals.

4. Give some of the rooms of the house a good cleaning.

5. Get the dead stuff out of the yard. You know, the dead squirrels, birds, mice, and such that collect up over the winter. Or is it leaves and branches? Probably a little of both. There was one year where the dang nasty starlings set up housekeeping in our downspout. How stupid was that? We could hear them. Anway, after a good downpour, I needed to get those nasty things out of there. I was tearing out nesting material, then dead birds. Then, fright of frights, abour four of the little devils came shooting out of there and flew away. I think my heart stopped momentarily. Then there was the starling momma that kept climbing into our grill and making nests. Plural. I'd go out to grill, open the lid, and starlings would fly out at me. And the dang grill was a heaping mass of straw and grass! Hamburgers, anyone?

6. Get the BB gun ready. Remember the starlings?

7. Start the new books which will arrive any day now. I love Amazon. And I don't buy many NEW books anymore.

8. Spend one day doing nothing that resembles work.

OK, that's all.
